The Everyday Chef is a Retail Specialty Shop in Jonesboro catering to gifts, bridal registry, cooking, and entertaining in your home. Originating in 2013 The Everyday Chef remains under the same ownership and is dedicated to bringing the best in retail shopping to Jonesboro.

We are seeking a mature, personable Sales Associate to join our team. Sales experience is preferred along with an interest in cooking and entertaining. Attributes include being a good listener, enthusiastic, and providing great service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in finding and selecting products that meet their needs
• Utilize our Windows-based Point of Sales (POS) system (basic computer knowledge is required)
• Process sales transactions and manage post-sale tasks including packaging items, arranging bridal deliveries and taking items for gift wrapping
• Maintain the showroom by straightening and cleaning during non-peak times
• Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure a welcoming and efficient store environment

Position Details:

• Permanent position
• Hours Monday-Friday 9:30 am – 5:30 pm. Saturday 9:30 am – 5:00 pm
• 40 hours per week maximum with alternating days off (at least one Saturday and one Monday per month)
• Breaks: 30 minute lunch break
