Job Summary:

A small, but rapidly growing, Jonesboro business is seeking a full-time Panel Layout Tech. This position will work under the direct supervision of the Production Shop Team Leader. This position is responsible for the physical assembly of control panels for industrial equipment. The Technician will fabricate controls to print, including layout and physical mounting of components to the back panel.

Job Description:

• Dimension and layout of back panels and enclosures

• Mounting of components to back panels and enclosures

• Operation of Computerized labeling & engraving equipment

• Maintain red line drawing mark-ups of changes required during fabrication

• Communicate red line changes to Engineer or Team Leader for revision prior to completion

• Travel to job sites as required for installation of control panels

• Provide support or general assistance in onsite duties as needed

• Assist in Installation & set-up of control panels on equipment

The ideal candidate will exhibit:

• The ability to listen well and take direction as needed

• Proficiency with power and hand tools

• The ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings

• A high standard of quality and attention to detail

• The ability to meet deadlines under pressure

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED

• Experience in the construction of control panels a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
