Requirements

• Tool and Die certification preferred, or at least five years of tool and die repair experience
• Metal-stamping die repair and maintenance experience required
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to operate grinders, mills, lathes, and related equipment
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and work around moving machinery

Job Duties

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain stamping dies
• Perform preventive maintenance on dies and tooling
• Diagnose tooling problems and reduce production downtime
• Set up and operate tool-room equipment
• Fabricate, modify, and repair tooling components
• Inspect tooling for wear, damage, and performance issues
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams
• Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
