- JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education
- Must be able to read and write as well as do simple arithmetic. Needs mechanical aptitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions and work with limited supervision.

- Experience
- Previous experience may shorten training time. An inexperienced worker will need three to six months on-the-job training to acquire skill and versatility to perform satisfactorily.

- Physical
- Normal hospital environment. Some exposure to changes in temperatures, fumes, and water. Normal/corrected eyesight. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Distinguish smells. Distinguish temperature by touch and proximity. Operates laundry processing equipment. Lifting, carrying up to 100lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 350lbs. Continuous standing, walking, bending and stooping.
