Role Description

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Jonesboro, AR. The CFO will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and capital planning to support the company’s growth and innovation. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing financial reporting, supervising the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and maintaining robust internal controls. The CFO will partner with executive leadership to shape long-term financial strategy, evaluate investment opportunities, and optimize resource allocation across manufacturing, product development, and consulting activities. Additional tasks include leading the finance team, improving financial systems and processes, supporting pricing and profitability analyses, and providing clear financial insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Finance and Financial Planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Candidates should possess experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, analysis, and compliance.
  • Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret complex data, assess risks, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Extensive experience in senior financial leadership roles, ideally within manufacturing, FMCG, or nutrition-related industries.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, financial modeling, and Excel; familiarity with cost accounting and margin analysis is beneficial.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and communicate financial insights clearly.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory and tax requirements relevant to manufacturing and international operations.
  • Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
