Role Description

The Security Guard is a full-time, on-site role based in Jonesboro, AR. This role is responsible for monitoring and securing the premises, including entrances, exits, and restricted areas, to ensure the safety of personnel, visitors, and property. Daily tasks include conducting regular patrols, checking identification or credentials as needed, responding to alarms or incidents, and documenting security activities and observations. The Security Guard will assist with access control, enforce company security policies, and report any safety or security concerns to leadership. This position may also involve providing directions and basic information to visitors and collaborating with other team members to maintain a secure and professional environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to interact professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Experience or training in Physical Security, including patrols, surveillance, and incident response.
• Knowledge of Personnel Security practices, such as access control and verification of authorization.
• Background in Private Security or related security services.
• Ability to remain alert, calm, and decisive in emergency or high-pressure situations.
• Good observation skills and attention to detail for identifying potential risks or suspicious activity.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant security certifications or licenses are a plus.
• Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, or facility security is preferred but not required.
