Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Supply Chain Manager with a strong background in food manufacturing. The ideal candidate will oversee the end-to-end supply chain, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and supplier relationships. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient flow of raw materials and finished goods while maintaining food safety, quality, and cost objectives.

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Manage the end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory, planning, warehousing, and logistics.

•⁠ ⁠Develop production and material planning strategies to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels.

•⁠ ⁠Source and manage suppliers of food ingredients, packaging materials, and manufacturing services.

•⁠ ⁠Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements to achieve cost savings and ensure continuity of supply.

•⁠ ⁠Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize waste, shortages, and excess stock.

•⁠ ⁠Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, R&D, Sales, and Finance to ensure smooth operations.

•⁠ ⁠Manage domestic and international transportation, imports, and exports.

•⁠ ⁠Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, food safety standards, and customer requirements.

•⁠ ⁠Analyze supply chain performance using KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

•⁠ ⁠Lead forecasting, S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning), and capacity planning activities.

•⁠ ⁠Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions.

•⁠ ⁠Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team.

Qualifications

•⁠ ⁠Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.

•⁠ ⁠Minimum 5 years of supply chain management experience in the food manufacturing industry.

•⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, production planning, logistics, and warehousing.

•⁠ ⁠Experience sourcing food ingredients and packaging materials.

•⁠ ⁠Knowledge of FDA regulations, GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements.

•⁠ ⁠Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).

•⁠ ⁠Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

•⁠ ⁠Excellent leadership and communication abilities.

•⁠ ⁠APICS/CPIM, CSCP, or similar certification is a plus.
