Job Summary:
Facilitates case preparation; stocks GI supplies, instruments and equipment; checks to ensure availability of supplies; cleans GI procedure rooms between cases; lifts and positions patients; and performs second surgical scrub duties. Helps reprocess GI scopes. Performs other duties as assigned.

- Completes assigned goals of the department
Experience:
Education:
- Minimum required: Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
Training:
Special Skills: Computer Literacy
Licensure: BLS certification within 14 days of hire date
Functional Demands: Medium- Lift and carry 40-50 pounds. Push/pull +/- 150-200 lbs (patient on bed, stretcher). Lateral transfer or max assist sit to stand transfer.
Activity Level Through Work Day: occasional sitting, frequent standing, frequent walking, occasional climbing of stairs or ladder, frequent carrying objects, occasional push/pull, occasional twisting and bending, frequent reaching forward and overhead, occasional squat/kneel/crawl, occasional wrist position deviation, occasional pinching/fine motor skills, occasional keyboard use/repetitive motion
