| Handles phone calls in a prompt and courteous manner. Assists staff, patients, providers, and general public in providing information, directions, and routes calls to appropriate departments. Performs other duties as assigned. |

| • | Serve as the central call center for all NEA Baptist clinics by answering, transferring and taking messages for incoming and internal calls. | |
| • | Assist patients, visitors and callers by providing directions as needed. Looks up information and numbers. | |
| • | Sort letters and type envelopes. Run lists for reminder cards. | |
| • | Maintains sign-in book and visitor badges. | |
| • | Assist patients with finding the appropriate provider and location that best suits their needs. | |
| • | Page overhead codes/incidences and alerts ambulance statuses. | |
| • | Contacts departments and maintains call schedules and provider schedules. | |
| • | Maintains updated call lists. | |
| • | Performs other duties as assigned. |
Specifications
Experience
| | | 6 - 12 months preferred relevant experience in a clinic, medical office, or hospital setting with understanding of basic medical terminology. |
Education
