The Jonesboro Housing Authority (JHA) seeks a HCV Case Manager.
The following are requirements for Management Positions:High school graduate or GED, Associate’s degree preferred, supplemented by six months to one year experience in a office management or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to understand HUD regulations and Authority policies, procedures and practices pertaining to the various housing programs. Good knowledge of general office procedures and practices, business English, and basic bookkeeping. Ability to communicate and express oneself clearly and concisely both orally and in writing with clients, staff, managers, and maintenance personnel. Skills and extensive knowledge of personal computers, applicable software, and general office equipment. Ability to make quick and accurate decisions based on emergency situations and established procedures. Ability to ask relevant questions, obtain and accurately record information; courteously explain procedures and impart information to staff, residents, and other individuals. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with co-workers, vendors, and other business contacts; maintain records and prepare reports as assigned and maintains confidentiality of the Authority’s operations. Ability to deal effectively with situations that require tact and diplomacy, yet firmness. Bondable with a Valid Arkansas driver’s license and eligibility for coverage under Authority fleet Auto insurance.
