We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our Enterprise Improvement Group (EIG). This team drives enterprise-wide transformation through automation, process improvement, and long-term facility development to deliver scalable, sustainable improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage capital projects from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with Hytrol’s enterprise strategy, schedule, and budget
  • Partner with stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, and Facilities to develop and execute automation and facility development initiatives
  • Analyze data and workflows using time studies, process mapping, and value stream analysis to identify waste and streamline operations
  • Support and lead Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts through Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methodologies
  • Provide structure and transparency in project execution by developing clear metrics, timelines, and reporting tools
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistency and scalability across systems and processes
  • Educate and mentor teams in CI and Lean principles to strengthen operational capabilities and foster a culture of ownership
  • Serve as a consultant, project manager, and problem-solver, adapting your role based on project alignment and scope

Qualifications

  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering preferred, with direct experience in capital project management and process improvement
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects with minimal oversight
  • Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Inventor, Excel, and Power BI; ERP experience (Epicor preferred)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or PMP certification a plus
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills with a passion for action, collaboration, and sustainable results

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience
