Overview

Hytrol Conveyor Company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our onsite employee health clinic at our manufacturing facility in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The clinic provides care for employees and their eligible family members. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and independent professional who provides high-quality care while maintaining a professional, patient-centered environment.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, sound decision-making, and the ability to work collaboratively with clinic staff and company leadership. The APRN must demonstrate professionalism, respect for patient confidentiality, and a commitment to maintaining a positive patient experience in a workplace health clinic setting. The APRN is expected to maintain a professional, respectful clinic environment that prioritizes patient trust, confidentiality, and positive interactions with employees, family members, and clinic staff.

This position offers a schedule of Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Responsibilities

  • Assumes responsibility for ongoing health maintenance and clinical management of stable chronically ill patients
  • Diagnoses and treats a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Initiates symptomatic treatment including worker's compensation cases
  • Performs periodic wellness evaluations and develops plans for employee health maintenance
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals and clinic staff to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
  • Educates patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and disease prevention
  • Maintains accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in strict compliance with HIPAA and all applicable privacy regulations
  • Always protects patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and clinic privacy standards
  • Maintains a professional and respectful clinic environment that promotes patient trust and encourages use of clinic services
  • Oversees day-to-day operations of the clinic, open Monday–Friday from 8am–5pm.
  • Coordinates health and wellness planning with clinic and/or health staff and other appropriate personnel
  • Maintains appropriate professional boundaries and focuses on clinic-related responsibilities while collaborating with company leadership and other departments as appropriate

Qualifications

  • License to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of AR
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an APRN, preferably in an industrial or occupational health setting
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
  • Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a clinical setting
  • Knowledge of occupational health practices and workers’ compensation case management preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound professional judgment and maintain appropriate boundaries in a workplace health clinic setting

Education

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or higher from an accredited nursing program
