We are currently seeking a Manager of Enterprise Improvement at our Jonesboro location. This position is responsible for leading and directing a team of Industrial Engineers as they drive process improvement in the manufacturing area by monitoring current processes, identifying waste and eliminating it. This group plays a key role in determining capital needs, leading projects, developing cost reductions and safety improvements.

Responsibilities

• Work with production employees to identify areas for improvement
• Develop processes to improve flow in manufacturing
• Work with Focus Factory management to implement and complete cost saving projects
• Monitor and report on scrap activities for plant
• Research equipment related to capital improvements
• Provide direction and make job assignments as necessary to meet demands of workload
• Ensure adherence to established company policy and process, being an advocate for change and innovation to continuously improve
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate with vendors, employees and the public
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus 3 years of related experience and/or training is required. 5 years of related management experience is required.
