We are currently seeking a 1^st Shift Panel Shop Technician at our manufacturing facility in Jonesboro. The Panel Shop Technician provides electrical support by building electrical components for specific orders and providing insight on electrical issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical knowledge, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and be committed to ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Install clutches and brakes on motors; this duty is performed weekly, about 30% of the time
• Provide mag. starters/electrical controls for shipment on special and stockyard orders; this duty is performed weekly, about 25% of the time
• Provide electrical support to Sales, Distributors, and End Users. This duty is performed weekly, about 25% of the time
• Maintain test carts, drum switches, and wiring; this duty is performed weekly, about 10% of the time
• Stock and maintain inventory of electrical items; this duty is performed weekly, about 10% of the time
• Frequent and variable lifting, pulling, and carrying of up to 50 pounds
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

• Mental alertness and adaptability to office and field area work routines
• 3 years of related experience or training
• Must be able to perform all assigned responsibilities noted above
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and communication
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Education

A High School Diploma or GED is required. A.A. in the field of electronics or technology is preferred.
