Systems Project Engineer - Jonesboro, AR

We are currently seeking a Systems Project Engineer at our Jonesboro location. This position is responsible for designing and producing necessary system drawings for engineering, manufacturing & installation in accordance with customer's specific needs, and supports customers with difficulties that relate to overall building layout and order entry. This will include any system order from concept to production implementation up to and including shipment.

Responsibilities

• Use AutoCad /HyCad to produce detailed system layout drawings for engineering design, manufacturing, and installation. Collaborate with Integrators to ensure proper equipment placement and application. This duty is performed daily.

• Supports system engineering by attending meetings, customer data collection, understanding client's product flow and throughput, and data analysis for overall system design and layouts. This duty is performed daily.

• Conduct system design review with Integrators to identify problem areas and provide proper design solutions for their application. This duty is performed as needed.

• Travels (domestically and internationally) for confirmation of layout, specifications, and equipment; as well as client meetings and presentations. This duty is performed as needed.

• Examine all aspects of the project and make improvements. Calculate carton rate, horsepower, & other formulas as required to ensure system criteria is met and the correct solution is provided. This duty is performed daily.

• Document all communication with Integrator/customer and internal Hytrol departments. This duty is performed daily.

• Communicate application information to sales, engineering, and purchasing. This duty is performed as needed.

• Conduct customer training classes as required. This duty is performed as needed.

• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility mentioned satisfactorily.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in conveyor Sales or applications
