929 Logistics - Transportation Coordinator 2nd shift

This is a 2nd shift position.

Will act as a liaison to provide logistical expertise while scheduling carriers for deliveries of product/services information and resolve any emerging problems or issues that our integration partners or customers might face with accuracy and efficiency.

1. Manage, track, and report large amounts of calls, emails, and shipments.
2. Identify and assess needs and concerns from our logistical carriers, our integration partners, and our customers to achieve satisfaction.
3. Build sustainable relationships and trust with logistic carriers, integration partners, and customers through open and interactive communication.
4. Prepare logistic documents needed such as bill of lading and export documents.
5. Meet personal/team goals for providing excellent customer experience.
6. Handle, track, and report freight quotes, freight claims, and storage fees.
7. Track and evaluate freight, rental, and equipment invoices to hand off for approval to Logistics Manager.
8. Create, document, provide, track, and report training for Transportation Coordinators.
9. Provide appropriate logistical solutions and alternatives within time limits; follow up to ensure resolution; keep records of interactions and data.
10. Follow all communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
11. Communicate to all internal departments pertaining to logistical problems or issues.
12. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

High School Diploma or GED plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus 7-11 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
