932 Engineered to Order (ETO) - Design Engineer

Design and produce necessary drawings to manufacture standard conveying equipment and/or modified

equipment in accordance with customer’s specific needs, and support Manufacturing with problems that

relate to design, bills of material, or item masters. This would include any engineered product from

concept to production implementation up to and including shipment of such product.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Plan, organize, and implement design projects from initial concept to testing or prototypes. This duty

is performed daily, about 15% of the time.

2. Perform design layouts and drafting on CAD systems as needed. This duty is performed daily, about

40% of the time.

3. Select and specify purchased parts and materials as needed. This duty is performed daily, about 25%

of the time.

4. Work closely with Manufacturing and Quality to identify and resolve design issues via various

troubleshooting and problem solving techniques. This duty is performed weekly, about 15% of the time.

5. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
