Job Title: Inside Sales Representative
Department: Stores
Reports To: Store Manager and Assistant Manager
General Description
Executes all point-of-sale and customer service functions while supporting store operations and driving sales through in-store and phone interactions.
Essential Job Functions
The following duties are essential to the role; other duties may be assigned as business needs require:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers in person and over the phone.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and proper use.
- Actively sell company merchandise and support team members in achieving sales goals.
- Build positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Job Duties
To successfully perform the essential job functions, the Inside Sales Representative must:
- Operate the BisTrack computer system to calculate pricing, taxes, and totals accurately.
- Accept payments, issue receipts, and make correct change.
- Obtain and prepare merchandise selected or requested by customers.
- Wrap or bag merchandise according to company standards.
- Stock shelves, counters, and displays with merchandise.
- Tag, stamp, or label merchandise with correct pricing.
- Set up and maintain promotional displays and signage.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, shelves, and counters.
- Participate in required training programs, both on-site and off-site.

Education and/or Experience

License Requirements

- Ability to write basic communications.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings with customers and coworkers.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages accurately.
