Your role and responsibilities
In this position, you will contribute to the planning and execution of tests on various low-voltage monitoring devices, using your knowledge of international standards and test methods. You will also investigate and solve critical product problems, optimize processes and check product conformity.
You will analyze and document test results that are incorporated into the development of new products and define the details of test sequences and test procedures.
You can expect a varied job with a balanced mix of theory and practice: you will draw up test plans, carry out laboratory tests and then document the results. Your varied range of tasks offers you excellent development prospects.
• You will be responsible for carrying out type tests and approval tests for electronic devices, including evaluating and documenting the results
• You will create test setups and define test parameters based on international standards
• You will continuously expand and optimize the existing test equipment
• You coordinate the maintenance of laboratory equipment
• You work actively with the product development teams
• You coordinate and supervise tests in external laboratories
• You organize and carry out random sample tests as part of product maintenance
Qualifications for the role
- Completed studies in electrical engineering or state-certified electrical engineer
- Several years of experience in a similar function
- Sound knowledge of the relevant standards (products and safety)
- An enthusiastic and team-oriented personality as well as a careful and independent way of working
- Solution-oriented approach
- Business fluent written and spoken German and fluent written and spoken English communication skills
- Profound knowledge in the application and programming of LabView
- Familiarity with electronic circuits. Experience with high voltage environments (up to 1 kV) is desirable
