The role reports to the Quality Manager and is located in Jonesboro, Arkansas. As a Quality Auditor 2nd Shift, you will be responsible for assisting the local quality team in implementing and maintaining a Quality system, including audits, controls, training in tools and methods, reporting of quality KPIs and customer cases, and process documentation.This position works 10 hour shifts Monday - Thursday, with OT as needed to meet customer demand.
Your responsibilities
- Leadership: Supports specific activities related to Quality Management within local ABB organizational unit
- Executes and assists the local organization with specific quality content, tools, and systems
- Assurance: Supports quality assurance activities in collaboration with local production, engineering, and other relevant functions
- Reports quality issues data, ensuring the Quality Management System is adhered to at all stages
- Acquires and reports in an accurate and timely manner on Quality metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the analysis and management of local processes
- Utilizes measurement systems to produce data that reflect the accurate characteristics of materials, products, systems, and processes
- Knowledge Skills: Performs assigned tasks in a safe manner that will encourage others to exercise safety in their normal daily activities
- Trains local operational teams in relevant elements of quality management, supports implementation and raises opportunities for improvement
- Customer Focus: Provides feedback to work teams from their internal and external customers to promote alignment between process output and customer expectations
- Governance: Assists the local quality team in implementing and maintaining a Quality system. Conducts routine audits to ensure the conformance of processes or products with established processes, procedures, standards, and specifications
- Leads small work teams in the documentation of their processes and the implementation of quality controls to ensure consistent and predictable results
Your background
- High school diploma and 3 plus years of experience in the Quality field
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
